Attention California Homeowners in High Fire Zones
Fire Prevention Compliance can protect your home and keep you covered.
A home’s exterior is its first line of defense against extreme weather and fire. FEMA stresses that fire-resistant siding is critical to avoiding wildfire-related home damage.
Many insurance companies now require covering your eaves and side walls with fire-resistant fiber-cement siding. Made primarily of cement our siding performs similar to brick, stucco and stone – adding fire, moisture and insect resistance.
Some wood and vinyl sidings are combustible and will ignite which adds fuel to a fire. Non-combustible exterior siding can add an extra layer of protection to your home.
